IRC Server info.

Here's everything about my IRC server.

Server: linksadventure.no-ip.org
Ports: 6667 or 6565 (anti-DCC exploit port)
Channels: #lobby, #retrojunk, #snesrpg, #forumrunners, #oldschool4life

This is not browser-based (eg: Java, HTML, etc) chat (eg: things like Talk City, Yahoo! and MSN chats, etc), you will need a special software to use it. It's called an IRC client. Some examples of IRC clients would be mIRC, X-Chat (Windows Version), X-Chat (Other platforms), Trillian, and GAIM. I've tested the server using everything except GAIM, and it seems to work so... yeah.

Oh, note of warning: Be sure to download X-Chat from the link that says Windows version, for the windows users. If you download it from the X-Chat home page, you will have to pay for it. Trust me, X-Chat IS licenced under the GPL.

Rules for the server are contained here.

WebTV users: you will need a special form of chat client software, as the softwares above only work for PC/Mac. Two IRC clients can be found here and here. Be warned that these are probably never updated, but you are free to take the HTML code and modify it as you so desire.

MSNTV users (and those who don't feel like installing an IRC client): You can use a special kind of IRC client called a CGI:IRC. The advantage to this is that you don't need to install an IRC client to use, and you don't even need to install Java. I have installed a CGI:IRC client, you can find it here.

Otherwise, if you're on a PC/Mac, and everything's installed and working fine, you can get to my server here.
